IBM Traveler settings restrictions and default settings for Verse iOS mobile
IBM® Notes® Traveler Settings in on-premises policies can be applied to IBM Verse iOS mobile users. Be aware of the policy restrictions and default settings within the service.

Note: Security Settings can determine which devices and device versions can connect to the service.

The following table describes the IBM Traveler policy Security settings that the service enforces for Verse iOS mobile users. You cannot use an on-premises policy to change the setting values.

For Verse iOS mobile, the settings
that are described in the following table are used by default in the service. You can customize
these settings. To do so, you must obtain a modified version of the 9.0.1 Domino directory template
that includes Security settings for Verse. For information on getting the latest template, see Technote 4037141. To customize the following settings after you apply the template, in a
Security Settings document, click the following tabs: .
Note: The term application password in the following table refers to a
password that is used to log on to the application on the device. It does not refer to applications
passwords that can be used to log on to cloud services.
