Creating database indexes for class properties (default search)

To optimize the performance of those queries that search a class property, create an index for the property in the object store database.

To create an index for a class property:

1. Access the table definitions in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, click the object store.
   2. In the object store navigation pane, click Data Design > Classes > Document.
   3. Select the document class.
2. Select the Actions tab and click Open Table Definition.
3. Select the Indexes tab and click Add.
4. Enter the information for the index that you want to create and click Save.
