PI connectivity

Use the PI components of IBM® Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack to integrate your industry data sources, and IBM Integration Bus applications.

Sensors in your data sources collect data and send it to a PI Server. The PI Server sends the data that you specify to a PI client, where you can use that data by using your IBM Integration Bus applications.

IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack provides a PI client that receives and processes data from PI Servers or PI Collectives.

IBM Integration Bus Manufacturing Pack contains the following nodes that integrate your IBM Integration Bus applications with your PI Server.

• PI-Read node
• PI-Input node
