WebSphere ESB user-defined converters sample

The WebSphere ESB conversion tool provides built-in converters and placeholder converters to convert WebSphere ESB mediation primitives, export bindings and import bindings to IBM Integration Bus resources. A placeholder converter is used to convert WebSphere ESB mediation module resources other than the types for which IBM Integration Bus provides a built-in converter. If you do not want to use the built-in or placeholder converters, you can create your own user-defined converter that you can add to the WebSphere ESB conversion tool. You can create a user-defined converter for WebSphere ESB mediation primitives, export bindings, and import bindings.

You might want to extend the WebSphere ESB conversion tool in the following situations:

The WebSphere ESB user-defined converters sample shows how to extend the WebSphere ESB conversion tool by creating Java classes that convert mediation primitives, export bindings, and import bindings.
