Working with IBM Business Process Manager

Use IBM® Integration Bus with IBM Business Process Manager Standard Edition integration services.

You can incorporate IBM Integration Bus integration services (created from scratch or from patterns and samples) with IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) integration services.

BPM provides enterprise-level business process design and modeling and IBM Integration Bus provides enterprise-strength connectivity and integration. IBM Integration Bus provides the option to create an IBM Integration Bus service from a BPM export .twx file to make it easier for BPM users to use services that are provided by the corporate infrastructure. Using IBM Integration Bus allows BPM users to concentrate on business processes rather than IT configuration.

For example, an auditor, an underwriter, and a customer relationship manager normally use BPM business services in their daily tasks. By using the IBM Integration Bus support for BPM integration services, BPM developers implement business objects that provide data to them from the company .NET customer relationship database (CRM DB). The phone number of the new warehouse manager that is updated in the CRM DB becomes available to the business processes that require it.
