Specifying General Information

The Information tab allows you to specify information that describes an object and is stored with the object in the IBM® SPSS® Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository.

Author. Author of the object. If omitted, the user's login name is used.

Version Label. A version label, or set of labels, is used to easily identify a version, for example, "production" or "development". You can specify one or more items from the available list. You can add a new label by clicking Add. Two versions of an object cannot have any of the same labels. If you specify a label associated with a previous version, it will be removed from the previous version and associated with the one you're storing.

Description. Description of the object. The specified value replaces any existing description for the object.

Keywords. One or more keywords to aid in searching. Multiple keywords should be separated by semicolons. Blank spaces at the beginning and end of each keyword are ignored, but blank spaces within keywords are honored. The specified keywords replace any existing ones for the object.

Expiration. This setting provides a mechanism to make sure dated information is not displayed after a certain date. Expired documents are not deleted but are automatically removed to a special category where they can be accessed only by the site administrator, who can delete, archive, or republish them. The specified date is the last day that the document is active.
