IEA792I ADDRESS SPACE asid CANNOT BE TERMINATED - JOB [jobname]
Explanation
The system was trying to end an address space when
an error occurred. In the message text:
- asid
- The address space identifier (ASID) of the address space that was ending.
- jobname
- The name of the job that was running in the address space. The
job is one of the following:
- An initiated task
- A started task
- A mounted task
- A time sharing option (TSO) logon task
System action
The system removes the address space control block (ASCB) from the end queue and does not complete ending of the address space. The system ignores any CANCEL or FORCE operator command to end the address space.
In most cases, the system writes a logrec data set error record. The record contains the ASCB in the variable recording area (VRA) of the system diagnostic work area (SDWA).
Operator response
Notify the system programmer.
System programmer response
Search problem reporting data bases for a fix for the problem. If no fix exists, report the problem to the IBM® Support Center. Provide the logrec data set error record and messages.
