Explanation
A hardware error occurred. Recovery for the direct access storage device (DASD) determined that a path should be varied offline.
In the message text:

If PATH (dev,cc) CANNOT BE VARIED OFFLINE appears in the message text, and the error persists, enter a VARY PATH or UNCOND command to vary the path offline.
