An IDCAMS command requiring volume authorization checking was issued. That checking was not possible because the volume serial could not be obtained from the offline device. The DASDVOL ALTER authorization checking for the volume is bypassed and processing of the command continues. This message can result from the following commands:

• SETCACHE SETSECONDARY, for the secondary volume
• SETCACHE REESTABLISHDUPLEX, for the alternate volume
