IAZ0528I   server_name IP address of remote peer could not be resolved, TCP/IP rc: rc

Explanation

During a start socket request, the NETSERV was unable to establish a connection to the requested IP address (or host name) and port. This error is preceded by message IAZ0545I, which reports a return code from the failing TCP/IP service.

If the connection is defined using an IP address, the most likely cause of this message is that the IP address and port combination does not exist on the internet. If the connection is defined using a host name, a possible cause of this problem is that the host name and/or port are not correctly defined in TCP/IP.

In the message text:
server_name
The NJETCP server name.
rc
The return code from the TCP/IP service getaddrinfo().
