Explanation
An attempt to write data from cache to DASD encounters
a DASD track format incompatible with the operation. In the message

System action
If the destage is for a fast write, the track is pinned in cache/nonvolatile storage. If the destage is to a duplex pair, the duplex pair is suspended.
