The system console and message processing

How you define the system console can determine the volume of messages that the system console receives during and after initialization.

During initialization you can control the volume of messages that the console receives. See Specifying LOAD information. You can reply to all WTOR messages from the system console during initialization.

You can control how the system console receives messages after initialization by defining values in CONSOLxx. You define routing attributes for the system console in CONSOLxx that control message traffic when the operator places the console in problem determination mode. See Messages that the system console receives in problem determination mode.
