Page one of the Aggregate Group Define panel contains aggregate
group define attributes. The SCDS Name and Aggregate Group Name fields
are output fields that contain the SCDS and aggregate group names
you specified on the Aggregate Group Application Selection panel.
- Description
- Describes the aggregate group, and can be up to 120 characters.
It is optional.
- Number of Copies
- Specifies the number of aggregate backup output files to be
created. The valid values are 1-15. It is required.
- Management Class Name
- Specifies the management class name from which the Aggregate
Backup attributes are obtained. The valid values are 1-8 alphanumeric
characters (first character not a digit) or a blank.
- Output Data Set Name Prefix
- Identifies the output data sets created by aggregate backup.
It is required.
