The secure data erase support guarantees that logical volume data that has expired in the VTS cannot be recovered by any reasonable means once the physical volume where the data resided has been reclaimed. The secure data erasure function is enabled on a physical volume pool basis when a non-zero value is specified for the secure data erase reclaim policy.
