Importing tape volumes into a VTS

Use the LIBRARY IMPORT command to initiate or cancel an import operation at the library. Before you can initiate an import operation, the import list volume must be written to identify which volumes are to be imported. For information on the 3494 VTS, refer to Importing logical volumes into a 3494 VTS system. For information on the copy export support in the Start of changeTS7700 Virtualization EngineEnd of change and what mechanism is used to bring the copy exported volumes back into a TS7740, refer to Copy export from the TS7700 Virtualization Engine.
