18 Add new tape devices to the OAM object tape configuration
You must perform this step when installing new tape devices.
To migrate to and implement new tape devices in the OAM object tape configuration, follow the instructions in z/OS V2R2 Migration or in the publication for the new tape device. These publications describe the procedures for migrating to the software support in a stand-alone environment, an IBM tape library, or an OAM object tape user in an OAMplex.
