Delete VSAM Volume Records: Example 3
In this example, VSAM volume records (VVRs) belonging to a data
component of a key-sequenced cluster are deleted from the VVDS. The
purpose of this example is to clean up the VVDS when there are residual
records as a result of an error.

The DELETE command deletes the VVRs associated with a VSAM cluster
from the VVDS and from the VTOC. Its parameters are:
- EXAMPLE.KSDS01.DATA is the name of the data component of the cluster.
- FILE specifies the ddname of a DD statement that describes the volumes that contain VVDS entries associated with this cluster.
- VVR specifies that only the VVRs for the cluster are to be deleted.
