The ABARS exits are loaded at the startup of the ABARS secondary secondary address space, if the EXITON parameter is specified for the ABARS exits associated with ABACKUP or ARECOVER functions. The ARCBEEXT, ARCM2EXT, ARCEDEXT, and ARCTVEXT exits are associated with the ABACKUP function and the ARCCREXT, ARCSKEXT, and ARCTVEXT exits are associated with the ARECOVER function.
The ARCTVEXT exit must run in 24-bit addressing mode below the 16MB line.
The ABARS exits receive control in 31-bit mode, but all passed parameters are in 24-bit storage.
