Controlling consoles
You need to obtain the following information before modifying the
console configuration:
- Console type
- Console name
- Device name or number
- JES message destinations assigned to the console you want to modify
- MVS™ routing codes assigned to the MCS consoles
Your system programmer can supply you with the name of the console. The JES3 message destinations are listed in Table 1.
