Entering a shell command from TSO/E

You can use the OSHELL REXX exec to run a z/OS® shell command from the TSO/E READY prompt and display the output to your terminal. The syntax is:

oshell shell_command

With this exec, do not use an & to run a shell command in the background. See OSHELL: Running a shell command from the TSO/E READY prompt for more information.
