Associating the FSS with a RACF user
ID
In order for Download for z/OS to access resources that are
protected by RACF®, you must
update either the RACF STARTED
class or the started procedures table to associate each Download for z/OS FSS
with a RACF user ID that has read access to the resources. This
user ID must have an OMVS segment, a home directory, an
associated user identifier (UID), and a default group that has an
OMVS segment with a group identifier (GID). For more information,
see z/OS Security Server RACF Security Administrator’s Guide and z/OS Security Server RACF System Programmer’s Guide.
