Starting the receiver automatically
You can start the AFP Download Plus receiver automatically during system
initialization. Do this:
- Edit /etc/rc, which is a script
that z/OS® runs whenever the
system is started.
- Add the apshhrcd command at the
end of the script. If there are timing issues with the startup of
TCP/IP (for example, apshhrcd starts
before TCP/IP is ready), place a sleep command just before the apshhrcd command.
Note:
To save any error messages that might
be written by the receiver, redirect stderr to
a file.
