Explanation

The system found an uncorrectable input/output (I/O) error while processing a JCL statement.

In the message text:
jobname
The name of the job.

System action

The system ends the job and issues message IEFC678I to the SYSOUT data set to inform the programmer.

Operator response

Restart the job in the input stream.
