Explanation

A reconfiguration request asked that the system reconfigure a Start of changeCPUEnd of change offline, but the system is unable to perform the requested reconfiguration because one or more jobs have affinity to that Start of changeCPUEnd of change.

System action

The system issues message IEE718I prior to issuing this message. Message IEE718I lists the names of the jobs. The system cancels the CONFIG command, regardless of the reply.

Operator response

Do the following:
  1. Reply N to continue scheduling jobs with affinity to the Start of changeCPUEnd of change.
  2. Reply S to stop scheduling jobs with affinity to the Start of changeCPUEnd of change.
  3. Enter CONFIG CPU(x), OFFLINE to request reconfiguration of the Start of changeCPUEnd of change offline when no more jobs with affinity to the Start of changeCPUEnd of change exist.
  4. Enter CONFIG CPU(x),ONLINE to make the Start of changeCPUEnd of change available for affinity job scheduling, even if the Start of changeCPUEnd of change is already online.
