Type 23 records collect SMF statistics. Your installation can
track SMF recording with the type 23 record, which is generated at
the expiration of the recording interval specified in the STATUS parameter.
Use the STATUS parameter to either:
- Specify an interval value, between 1 second and 24 hours, in hhmmss format.
- Request that SMF use the global interval value specified on the
INTVAL parameter. Specify the SMF,NOSYNC subparameter.
- Request that SMF synchronize with the SMF global recording interval.
