IEHMOVE returns a code in register 15 to indicate the results of program execution. The return codes and their meanings are:

Successful completion.

A specified function was not completely successful. Processing continues.

08 (X'08')

A condition exists from which recovery is possible. Processing continues.

12 (X'0C')

An unrecoverable error exists. The utility is ended.

16 (X'10')

It is impossible to OPEN the SYSIN or SYSPRINT data set. The utility is ended.
