You use the COMPARE statement to indicate the organization of the data sets you want to compare. The COMPARE statement, if included, must be the first utility control statement. COMPARE is required if you use the EXITS or LABELS statement or if the input data sets are partitioned data sets or PDSEs. The syntax of the COMPARE statement is:
