You can use the space management and backup installation exit (ARCSAEXT) instead of the ARCADEXT, ARCBDEXT, or ARCMDEXT exits when any of those exits is constrained for virtual storage. Space is saved because ARCSAEXT does not build work elements for data sets it eliminates and because the exit is taken before DFSMShsm performs any data set eligibility tests.
