Recovering from an Abend of ARCSDEXT Processing

z/OS DFSMS Installation Exits

If the shutdown exit abends:
  • DFSMShsm issues message ARC0004I along with the abend code from the system diagnostic work area (SDWA).
  • DFSMShsm continues shutting down
