Moving lines of text z/OS UNIX System Services User's Guide SA23-2279-00 |

Use the m (move) subcommand to move a block of lines to
a different position in the edit buffer. After the text is moved,
the last line in the block of lines becomes the current working line.
Enter:
where a1 is
the number of the first line in the block, a2 is the number
of the last line in the block, and n is the number of the
line that the block of lines are to be moved after.To move text to the top of the buffer, use 0 as the line number for the lines to be moved after. To move text to the end of the buffer, use $ as the line number for the lines to be moved after. |
