Installing the Sametime Media Manager Video MCU

Install the IBM® Sametime® Media Manager Video MCU. Remember that the Video MCU is available only on Linux, and only with the Sametime Conference and Sametime Complete offerings.

  1. Installing the Sametime Video MCU
    Install prerequisite Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) files and then install IBM Sametime Video MCU. Remember that the Sametime Video MCU is available only on Linux, and only with the Sametime Conference and Sametime Complete offerings. The Sametime Video MCU must be installed on a dedicated server.
  2. Configuring access to the Video MCU from a Video Manager server
    Enable the IBM Sametime Video MCU to interoperate with the Sametime Video Manager by adding the Video MCU to the Video Manager's configuration.
