Integrating data with external applications
You use the IBM® TRIRIGA® Application Platform connector tools to import, update, or export data from your IBM TRIRIGA database; or link or share data with IBM TRIRIGA applications. These tools include the TRIRIGA integration object, IBM TRIRIGA Connector for Esri Geographic Information System (GIS), IBM TRIRIGA Connector for Business Applications, IBM TRIRIGA DataConnect, IBM TRIRIGA Data Integrator, and OSLC integration.
- Integrating data with the TRIRIGA integration object
The TRIRIGA integration object is a utility business object in the triIntegration module that contains the metadata that controls the integration between IBM TRIRIGA and external systems. When you create integration definitions with the TRIRIGA integration object, you use standard IBM TRIRIGA tools such as workflows and queries to build integration connections. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA Connector for Esri Geographic Information System (GIS)
You can retrieve data from your IBM TRIRIGA database and data from an Esri ArcGIS server, and display that data in GIS maps. The GIS maps can be in portal sections and form tabs. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA Connector for Business Applications
From an external system, you can insert or update information in the IBM TRIRIGA database or retrieve query results from the IBM TRIRIGA applications with the IBM TRIRIGA Connector for Business Applications tool. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA DataConnect tool
You can import data from an external system into your IBM TRIRIGA database with staging tables and workflow tasks with the DataConnect tool. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA Data Integrator
You can import tab-delimited data from an external system into your IBM TRIRIGA business objects with the Data Integrator tool. You can also make mass updates of existing data with the Data Integrator tool. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA Data Load Manager
You can import data from an external system into your TRIRIGA database with the Data Load Manager. The data load process includes configuring and loading multiple business objects sequentially, providing a mechanism to monitor the data load progress, and identifying errors. - Integrating data with the TRIRIGA Connector for SAP BusinessObjects
You can run reports that are created in Crystal Reports in your IBM TRIRIGA applications. You must configure a Crystal Reports server. You must also configure IBM TRIRIGA applications so that you can display the output from Crystal Reports in forms. - Integrating data by using OSLC
Your product applications and some external applications can link and share data by using Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) integration. OSLC makes it easier for tools to work together and share data. By following the rules and methods that are defined by the specifications, applications can perform create, request, update, delete operations on the resources of another application. - Extending connector functions
You can write extended functions for many IBM TRIRIGA connectors. These extended functions use class loaders, resource files, custom workflow components, servlet proxies, the Java™ programming language, and the IBM TRIRIGA Connector for Business Applications web service interface.
