Linux: Uninstalling Tivoli Storage Manager in console mode

To uninstall Tivoli® Storage Manager by using the command line, you must run the uninstallation program of IBM Installation Manager from the command line with the parameter for console mode.

Procedure

  1. In the directory where IBM Installation Manager is installed, go to the following subdirectory:
    • Linux operating systemseclipse/tools

    For example:

    • Linux operating systems/opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse/tools
  2. From the tools directory, issue the following command:
    • Linux operating systems./imcl -c
  3. To uninstall, enter 5.
  4. Choose to uninstall from the IBM® Tivoli Storage Manager package group.
  5. Enter N for Next.
  6. Choose to uninstall the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager server package.
  7. Enter N for Next.
  8. Enter U for Uninstall.
  9. Enter F for Finish.
