Narrow the search results when you query sessions
With Tivoli® Storage Manager Version 7.1.3, you can narrow the search results of the QUERY SESSION command to obtain query output for specific clients. For example, if a Tivoli Storage Manager solution includes hundreds of clients, you can run the QUERY SESSION command with the CLIENTNAME parameter to obtain session information for a specified client or group of clients.
In addition, you can use the TYPE parameter on the QUERY SESSION command to narrow the search based on session type. You can set the TYPE parameter to display information about administrative sessions, server-to-server sessions, or client sessions.
