DELETE RECMEDMACHASSOCIATION (Delete recovery media and machine association)

Use this command to remove the association of one or more machines with a recovery media. This command does not delete the machine from Tivoli® Storage Manager.

Privilege class

To issue this command, you must have system privilege.

Parameters

media_name (Required): Specifies the name of the recovery media that is associated with one or more machines.
machine_name (Required): Specifies the name of the machine associated with the recovery media. To specify a list of machine names, separate the names with commas and no intervening spaces. You can use wildcard characters to specify a name. If a machine is not associated with the recovery media, the machine is ignored.

Example: Delete a machine's association with recovery media

Delete the association between the DIST5RM recovery media and the DISTRICT1 and DISTRICT5 machines.

delete recmedmachassociation 
dist5rm district1,district5
