To install IBM® Tivoli® Storage FlashCopy® Manager for VMware, you can use the installation wizard, the console, or the console in silent mode.
The Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for VMware installation packages are delivered as InstallAnywhere files. You can access the product software from an installation DVD or from an image that is downloaded from IBM Passport Advantage®. These files use the following naming format: 4.1.0.0-TIV-TSFCM-VMware.bin.
You must use the root user ID for the installation.
