The most likely reason for this error is that an FMV2463W warning previously occurred, and there is no data to delete. If you have not previously seen an FMV2463W message, the client dsmerror.log file might contain information to help you troubleshoot this error. Clean up the virtual machine to remove old information from the server. Use the Restore VM command, and specify the -VMRESToretype=VMCLeanup option.
