Try the operation again. If the error persists, review the TSM error log and Windows event log for information related to this error. Use the Windows command VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS to determine the status of the Volume Shadow Copy service. You can reboot the machine to clear the volume shadow copy error state. If the system is a Domain Controller and the Active Directory service is stopped, restarting the Active Directory service will resolve the issue.
