An ISO backed CDrom devices will not be backup with the Virtual Machine.
The Virtual Machine create on restore would fail if the ISO CDrom images was not available or on-line.
The Virtual Machine backup will continue minus the CDrom device.
Once the Virtual Machine is created you may add a CDrom device to it.
