OPERTIM
The OPERTIM system initialization parameter specifies the write-to-operator timeout value, in the range 0 through 86400 seconds (24 hours).
- OPERTIM={120|number}
- This is the maximum time in seconds that CICS waits for a reply before returning control to this transaction. You can change the write-to-operator timeout value when issuing messages to the console from an application by using the timeout option on the WRITE OPERATOR command. See WRITE OPERATOR for details.
