LGNMSG
The LGNMSG system initialization parameter specifies whether z/OS® Communications Server logon data is to be made available to an application program.
- LGNMSG={NO|YES}
- Valid values are as follows:
- NO
- z/OS Communications Server logon data is not available to an application program.
- YES
- z/OS Communications Server
logon data is available to an application program. The data can be
retrieved with an EXEC CICS® EXTRACT
LOGONMSG command. For programming information about this command,
see EXTRACT LOGONMSG.
You can use this parameter with the GMTRAN parameter to retrieve the z/OS Communications Server logon data at the time a terminal is logged on to CICS by z/OS Communications Server.
