Starting from this release, compatibility of the redistributable library, libxlopt.a, will be maintained. The libxlopt.a library will be compatible with compiler XL C/C++ for AIX®, V11.1 or later.
Previously, the version of the redistributable library had to be the same as the version of the compiler with which the application was compiled.
You can download and use the latest redistributable library for multiple applications compiled with XL C/C++ V11.1, or later, on supported platforms.
