Troubleshooting high CPU loads on LDAP servers
In some situations, you may experience high CPU loads on a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server connected to an IBM® BPM system. To help you identify the CPU-intensive requests, you can audit the information from the LDAP server. It is especially important to check the source IP address to identify the originator of the requests.
To reduce the general number of requests that are being sent
from IBM BPM to
the LDAP server, see the instructions in the topic Specifying that members of a group member cache are retrieved from the database. This will require a manual
synchronization for all entries that are not covered by a user login
synchronization. Also, you should consider the instructions in the
topic Optimizing group membership retrieval during user login.
