IBM BPM Application Pattern requirements and content
Understand the requirements for and contents of IBM® Business Process Manager Application Pattern packages on IBM PureApplication® System.
IBM BPM Application Pattern on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, V6.3 requires IBM PureApplication System W1500, V1.1 and later fix packs, and runs on ESX hypervisors.
IBM BPM
Application Pattern packages
are approximately 2.4 G and provide the following components:
- Preinstalled IBM BPM V8.5 binary files
- IBM BPM pattern type definition
- IBM BPM virtual application pattern plug-in
The operating system is not packaged with the IBM BPM Application Pattern packages. Instead, PureApplication System provides the common base image.

- Default virtual machine configuration
When you deploy virtual application patterns, the virtual machines that are running in the resulting virtual application instances have default settings. You can use the default settings as you plan your virtual application pattern development.
