Disabling WebSphere Application Server administrative security for IBM CMIS for Content Manager OnDemand

IBM® CMIS for Content Manager OnDemand uses application managed authentication and does not work when WebSphere® Application Server administrative security is enabled.

About this task

When WebSphere Application Server administrative security is enabled, it prevents WebSphere Application Server from using application managed authentication. You must disable WebSphere Application Server administrative security before you use IBM CMIS for Content Manager OnDemand.

Procedure

To disable WebSphere Application Server administrative security:

  1. Open the WebSphere Application Server administrative console.
  2. Go to Security > Global security.
  3. Clear Enable application security under Application security.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Save the changes to the master configuration.
  6. Restart the web application server for your changes to take effect.
