Before you install IBM® Content
Navigator or
its prerequisite software, work with the system administrators of
your web application servers, databases, and repository servers to
collect the information that you need to be able to install and configure
the servers in your environment.
Read the relevant topics for your environment in the planning section
before you install or configure IBM Content
Navigator to ensure that you are
aware of any restrictions or limitations that might apply to your
environment.
The worksheets that you must complete depend on the type of web
application server that you are deploying IBM Content
Navigator on and the types of
repositories that you plan to connect to by using IBM Content
Navigator.
Tip: You can use the worksheets in several ways:
- You can print the installation and configuration worksheets and
fill them out. You can print the worksheets from the information center
or from the PDF version of the documentation
- If you access the installation and configuration worksheets from
the PDF version of the documentation, you can use editing software,
such as Adobe Acrobat, to add
your values to the worksheets.
