Installing IMS service on a single system
IMS service can be installed in several ways, including SMP/E methods.
The SMP/E methods to install service include:
- RECEIVE/APPLY/ACCEPT (standard sequence)
- ACCEPT without APPLY (pregeneration mode)
- ACCEPT before APPLY (SYSDEF-sensitive service)
Important:
- Do not ACCEPT APARs or USERMODs.
- Before the installing service, ensure that you have read the latest HOLDDATA information.
