Workload management

You can use InfoSphere™ Warehouse Workload Manager to prioritize the processing of work in your database server. To process the work according to your business priorities, Workload Manager uses a subset of the features of the underlying DB2® Workload Manager.

The graphic shows a combination of methods that you can use to prioritize database work. You can explicitly prioritize work at high, medium, and low levels of concurrency. You can prioritize work by the estimated SQL cost.
