db2cktsa - Display version, license type, and status of Tivoli SA MP and the RSCT peer domain command
Displays information regarding the IBM® Tivoli System Automation for Multiplatforms (Tivoli SA MP) and IBM Reliable Scalable Cluster Technology (RSCT) peer domain.
You can display information regarding Tivoli SA MP and the RSCT peer domain using the db2cktsa command.
This command can be found in the DB2DIR/install/tsamp directory (where DB2DIR represents the location where the Db2® copy is installed.)
Command syntax
Command parameters
- -d
- Turns debug mode on.
- -l logFile
- Writes the log to the file name specified.
- -v install | media
- Displays the Tivoli
SA MP version
already installed, or the Tivoli
SA MP version
on the installation media.
- 0 - Success
- 7 - Tivoli SA MP is not installed on the system
- 8 - Tivoli SA MP is not on the media
- -i install | media
- Displays the Tivoli
SA MP license
type already installed on the system, or, the Tivoli
SA MP license
type on the installation media. The license information is indicated
by a return code value:
- 0 - No license or Tivoli SA MP is not installed
- 13 - Try & Buy license
- 14 - Permanent license
- -s install | media
- Displays the RSCT version that is already installed, or the RSCT peer domain version on the installation media.
- -c
- Displays either the online RSCT peer domain or
the offline peer domain (if it exists.) The peer domain information
is indicated by a return code value:
- 0 - No peer domain
- 1 - Online peer domain
- 2 - Peer domain exists, but is not online
- -n peer-domain-name
- This parameter must be used with the -c parameter. Displays the
status of a specific RSCT peer domain.
The peer domain information is indicated by a return code value:
- 0 - No peer domain
- 1 - Online peer domain
- 2 - Peer domain exists, but is not online
- -h | -?
- Displays the usage information.
Examples
To
display the Tivoli
SA MP version
level already installed on your system, use the following db2cktsa command:
db2cktsa -v install
To
display the Tivoli
SA MP version
level on the installation media, use the following db2cktsa command:
db2cktsa -v media
To display the RSCT version level already installed
on your system, use the following db2cktsa command:
db2cktsa -s install
To display the RSCT version level on the installation
media, use the following db2cktsa command:
db2cktsa -s media
To
display the status of a specific RSCT peer domain,
use the following db2cktsa command:
db2cktsa -c -n db2domain
Note: To display the domain name, use the following command:
db2cluster -cm -list -domain
