Generating database configuration recommendations
The Configuration Advisor is automatically run when you create a database. You can also run the Configuration Advisor by specifying the AUTOCONFIGURE command in the command line processor (CLP) or by calling the db2AutoConfig API.
Procedure
To request configuration recommendations by using the CLP,
enter the following command:
AUTOCONFIGURE
USING input_keyword param_value
APPLY value
Example
Following is an example of an AUTOCONFIGURE command
that requests configuration recommendations based on input about how
the database is used but specifies that the recommendations not be applied:
